American International Tile's beginnings were truly “A Vision” that the Ceramic Tile Industry had a great unfolding future! The founders felt very strongly in the growth potential of the ceramic tile market and wanted to be part of bringing the best that the world had to offer to the Mid-West Region of the United States. Distribution was opened in 1975. From that beginning the criteria of our product line has continued to be the newest in design, with the best quality, and the most innovative technology.

Relationships were established with major manufacturers in 1975 and to this day, they have proven to be “the best the industry has to offer.” As technology and design have grown in our industry, our basic group of manufacturers has grown to include more of the very best. Due to our high standards and commitment to quality we have gained National prominence. Our portfolio includes such projects

as The Madison Wisconsin Convention Center, The John G. Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, numerous churches, offices, restaurants, and hotel lobbies; even a hotel lobby in the Virgin Islands… to mention just a few. Some of our new projects include The Citadel & Sky Bridge in Chicago, two fantastic designs.
